What Is It? Dry Skin Brushing

Dry-brushing (known as garshana in ayurveda) is a powerful and inexpensive self-care practice to boost energy, improve circulation, remove dead skin cells, beautiful your skin and assist in gentle, natural detoxification

This is an ideal practice for spring, as it helps to move toxins (ama) or any stagnant energy from the body.

Prana-Rich Orange Juice

After a long winter, this fresh orange juice is great way to boost your mood, your energy levels, and to gently detoxify the body. Combined with ginger, honey and cinnamon, this drink boosts sattva guna, an energy which harmonizes body, mind and spirit.

Ideal for balancing kapha or vata dosha.

Recipe: Prana-Rich Orange Juice

In a blender or Vitamix, combine:

  • 1 cup water (room temperature)
  • 1 fresh orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger (fresh or dry)
  • 1/4 teaspoon real cinnamon powder

Enjoy. This drink is best freshly prepared, on an empty stomach or 20 minutes before your meal.

Course Overview

This course is designed to support your spiritual awakening in a practical and experiential way.

You will learn:

  • a simple and sustainable daily meditation practice;
  • the energetic dynamics of mind, body, emotions and environment;
  • basic principles of natural healing;
  • your capacity for higher states of perception (e.g. intuition).

This course is ideal for you if:

  • you are in a period of personal transition;
  • you are seeking ways to reduce stress, and naturally improve your health and creativity
  • you are curious to learn more about spirituality, meditation, accessing intuition or natural healing modalities;

What to expect:

  • yoga, breathing exercises and guided meditation (suitable for beginners and those of any experience level);
  • an exploration of the connection between mind, body and emotions;
  • an introduction to holistic health, based on your individual needs and body type;

No experience is required. This course is open to seekers of all levels of experience or background. We are not affiliated with any particular tradition or religion.

She draws her primary inspiration from Berdhanya Swami Tierra, a female mystic and shaman of South American origin. At present, she regularly travels with Berdhanya facilitating retreats across Canada and internationally.

Briya is committed to promoting consciousness as a tool for more artful and inspired living. She currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario.
