Cauliflower in Tahini Sauce


Cauliflower is balancing for pitta and kapha. This delicious tahini sauce balances its vata aggravating effects.

Good for all three doshas in moderation.

  • 3 tablespoons of tahini
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3-5 tablespoons of water
  • salt
  • 1 large cauliflower

Mix tahini, lemon juice, water, salt into a creamy paste (it should be a little runny). Add salt to taste.

Steam cauliflower in a small amount of water for about 3-4 minutes, then cut into chunks. Drain and place cauliflower in a service dish and pour sauce on top.

If required, you can reheat this dish in the oven prior to serving.
