My first meditation class was a leap of faith.
I was ready for something to change, but I didn’t know what, or where I was going.
I had read about meditation in all my yoga books and had been inspired to learn from a colleague with a very impressive mind. But still, I didn’t know what I was in for, having no point of reference. I had certain notions of where I was going — like into some peaceful, empty Buddha-state or a mystical zen trance, but it was a step into the new.
